Our Humble Beginnings

We are passionate about sharing fitness and yoga with West Plains.  FLO Fitness & Wellness came to life in 2011 while we had the opportunity to begin teaching a small class at The Firm. Numbers quickly grew and it was so amazing seeing the progress that our students were making over time.  This inspired us to consider the possibility of opening our own studio and here we are!

Feel Good Again

Making time for yourself can often be a source of guilt.  But consider what feeling good about yourself and your health can do for your children and family. Increased energy, improved mood, less illness…the list goes on…you deserve all of these things!  Family fitness is at the heart of our mission.

We understand how hard it is to have self control, to get yourself out of bed to come to the gym.  It’s not easy!  But it’s NOT impossible either.

When you are ready to make the change, we will welcome you with open arms.

 

OUR TEAM

Quanna Hafer

 

Quanna graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in food Science/ Human nutrition and exercise physiology. She has 15 years experience in nutrition and fitness ( personal training), hold certifications in yoga, trx, barre, indorow, and shockwave. She is currently completing her advanced 300 RYT yoga training in San Marcos TX. Quanna is an avid runner. She has completed 12 marathons , including qualifying and finishing The Boston Marathon in 2013, and over 25 1/2 marathons. When not running her business or literally running, she is spending time with her husband and 3 children.

Stephanie Trail
Stephanie has been a certified personal trainer through NASM at FLO Fitness since 2012.  Prior to FLO, she gained experience through hands on training in Chicago, Scottsdale and Miami.  Stephanie has a dynamic range of clientele and specializes in weight loss, metabolic training, muscle range of clientele and specializes in weight loss, metabolic training, muscle gain, and general fitness.  Stephanie has found that training yields many other positive results that become the foundation for a healthy, balanced life.  She also teaches TRX, bodyFLO, cycle, Indorow, and Shockwave.  Her long-term fitness goals include backpacking the Appalachian Trail and to incorporate more yoga into her life.
Cindy Temple
Cindy has been a fitness instructor since 1978.  She has trained under Gin Miller and Leigh Crews through the Reebok University.  This is where she received a multitude of certifications including step, yoga, fitness style kickboxing, and water aerobics.  Cindy's step class is sure to be a fun and satisfying workout!
Theresa Speake
Theresa enjoys outdoor cycling and running and has competed in many spring triathlons.  From this love, came the one and only FLOathalon, her class that incorporates rowing, cycling and running.  Theresa has been a licensed PT for 25 years, and is certified in Indorow and cycleFLO.
Amy Thomas
Amy is certified in Ashtanga yoga through Maya Yoga in Kansas City, MO and the Ashtanga Yoga Center in Encinitas, CA.  Amy has been certified since 2014 and is currently working towards a 500 hour certification.
